How It’s Looking: Baldwin Opens Tues

Baldwin, the new pride and joy on the Auckland train network ,opens tomorrow (Tuesday morning) as schools return.
The long weekend has been the last chance to get everything finished. The work began mid-December and caused the station to be closed completely for some weeks.
It’s looking good.
Fencing is one of the last tasks needed to be done.

And there was track work today at the nearby Morningside station.

    Thanks for the pics.
I have a feeling that this is the last redeveloped station for a while, hope not

  2. Joyce took the PT funding says:

Don’t forget Steven Joyce and his band of merry “sell it all off’ friends took $200 million away from the public transport budget and passed over to their Roads of Costly Insignificance!

  3. John Dalley says:

    Greenlane upgrade is just starting.

  4. George D says:

They’ll have to upgrade Southern Line stations eventually, and there’s Manukau. I think there will be things to photograph for quite a few years!

  5. patrick says:

@ George, your right there are plenty of photos to come,
the rwc has made things urgent, maybe higher petrol prices will push demand for PT
