How’s it Looking? St George Update

All train services will have resumed tomorrow- and there’s plenty to show for the weeks of  long hot work by KiwiRail workers and contractors.

One example is Papatoetoe’s new St George Railbridge.

Workers were putting the final touches to it this afternoon and admiring their handiwork.

    The road was all marked out this evening (four lanes), and was scheduled to open at midnight. The temporary level crossing closes at the same time.

    These guys have done a fantastic job, so why can’t other roading projects be done with such efficiency?
