His work / driving style seems rather… “casual” to me…
As a boy growing up in Auckland it made perfect sense to me that a prisoner escaping from Mt Eden would make an effective departure by jumping on a passing goods train.
Or after tagging the rail corridor they could equally be delivered to the prison by train..
