Sydney Train Chaos

Delays are still plaguing Sydney’s rail network more than nine hours after a hardware failure ground to a halt all trains on six lines in and out of town.

At 3pm NSW Transport was still advising train travellers to use their tickets on buses instead, after a crucial piece of signalling equipment at Sydenham station failed about 7.40am.
