It’s been a busy housekeeping weekend on the Western Line with no trains running over the tracks.
Besides the start to Baldwin Ave’s station upgrade, as covered on Saturday, workers continued to work on the new electrification signals and cabinets and did some track maintenance.

Ranui was also a hive of activity over the weekend, with 27 electrification mast bases installed along 1km of track.
