Subscribe to RSSGST Applied To Fares
The GST increase will be applied to all public transport fares in Auckland over a three day period.
Fullers Waiheke Island service, tourist and other charter service fares will increase on Friday October 1. Other fare increases for bus, train and most ferry services will come into effect on the Sunday October 3.

While it is expected it is a shame as I it is quite handy having the train fares rounded to the dollar (except the one stage). It was probably much easier for the staff as well as there would have been less small change to count
