Wellington Police are seeking witnesses to a serious injury crash that occurred on Sunday morning, between a cyclist and two pedestrians, which left one unconscious.
Sergeant Mark Moody of the Strategic Traffic Unit says shortly after 11:30am, a 37 year-old woman and her 8 year-old daughter were crossing the road at the traffic light-controlled intersection near Chaffers New World on Cable Street, when they were involved in a collision with a cyclist.
Sergeant Moody says the woman was unconscious at the scene for about ten minutes and was hospitalised as a result.
“Police are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident on Sunday 19th September. We have spoken to a number of people already, but are keen to hear from anyone else who may have useful information for us.”
