Subscribe to RSSHawke’s Bay Cycle Trail Boost
The national cycle trail project moved forward in another area today with the signing of a contract for the new Hawke’s Bay Landscapes Trail at an event attended by the prime minister.
It’s a joint initaive of the cycle project and the Hawke’s NBay regional council.
The 55km trail will connect with existing Rotary pathways and loops around the Tukituki Valley, Te Mata Peak, the village of Havelock North and includes a section along the coast between Haumoana and Te Awanga.

Gathering speed - good stuff. There’s a lot of trails about to start construction. Soon there will be so many I suspect the Prime Minister will become a bit rarer at these events… good on him to keep up with it, though.
