It’s a smooth operation now with an announcement made near the Britomart tunnel that there will be a check and a military precision operation which sees passengers checked quickly as many are in a hurry to get to work.
Meanwhile at Morningside today, waiting commuters found part of the station cordoned off - not for a fare check but for cabling work.
