A bad day for Australian commuter trains.
In Melbourne, a Metro train smashed into the rear of a freight train in Melbourne’s north. 5 people were injured and the crash caused damage to the front of the Metro train as you can see in this video:
And an excavator driver doing track work was killed today when a passenger train carrying 77 people crashed into him near Bathurst, in central western NSW.
