Truck Driver Charged With Cycling Tourist’s Death

A truck driver has been charged over the death of a German tourist who had been cycling and backpacking through New Zealand.

Mia Pusch was killed on January 5 as she cycled along SH3 near Bulls.

A 66-year-old man from Wanganui has been charged with careless driving causing death and will appear at Marton District Court next month.
