Trying to drive around the city and Harbour Bridge last night was like trying to do some crazy obstacle course.

You would be directed up one way only to find the detour you thought you could do blocked because of even more road works.

So here’s this week’s helpful list of motorway closures over Easter and the next week.

Closures start at 8pm and finish at 5am, unless otherwise stated .

NORTHERN MOTORWAY (SH1)
· Southbound lanes between Greville Road off ramp and Upper Harbour Highway on ramp 6 April
· Southbound lanes between Tristram Avenue off ramp and Northcote Road on ramp 7 April
· Esmonde Road southbound on ramp 6 April (approx 11pm – 5am)

AUCKLAND HARBOUR BRIDGE (SH1)
· Shelly Beach Road off ramp and Auckland Harbour Bridge southbound lanes one and two 6 – 8 April (approx 7.30pm - 5.30am)

CENTRAL MOTORWAY JUNCTION (CMJ)
· Southbound lanes between Fanshawe Street off ramp and Hobson Street on ramp 6 – 8 April (approx 11pm – 5am)
· Fanshawe Street northbound on ramp 6 – 8 April (approx 10.30pm – 5am)

SOUTHERN MOTORWAY (SH1)
· Gillies Avenue southbound off ramp 6 – 8 April (approx 10pm – 5am)
· St Marks southbound on ramp 3 April (7pm) to 19 April (5am), 24 hours a day
· East Tamaki northbound on ramp 6 April (approx 9pm – 1am)
