More rail work is to be done over the Auckland anniversary weekend (late this year at the very end of the month) - and this will mean the return of the railbuses over that time.

Ongoing duplication works on the Western Line and track lowering works for electrification.
Are they going to use both tracks between Avondale and that bridge just short of Portage Road? Having a set of points to cross over there would literally save huge amounts of time rather than waiting at that signal in Avondale for 5+ minutes for the next city bound train to clear New Lynn at least until New Lynn station is ready.
