This weekend’s motorway disruptions

 

Trains are usual.
Below from NZTA are this weekend’s motorway closures while work continues.
They apply from 8pm to 5am unless otherwise stated.

Northern Motorway (SH1)

  • Upper Harbour Highway northbound off ramp 1 November
  • Northcote Road southbound on ramp 1 November (approx 4am – 9am)
  • Northcote Road northbound off ramp 1 November (approx 4am – 9am)

Auckland Harbour Bridge (SH1)

  • Curran Street on ramp and Auckland Harbour Bridge northbound lanes one and two 31 October (approx 7.00pm to 4am)
  • Curran Street on ramp and Auckland Harbour Bridge northbound lanes one and two 1 November (approx 4am – 9:30am)
  • Shelly Beach Road off ramp and Auckland Harbour Bridge southbound lanes one and two 1 – 5 November (approx 7.30pm - 5:30am)
  • Curran Street on ramp and Auckland Harbour Bridge northbound lanes one and two 1 - 5 November (approx 9pm to 5.00am)

Central Motorway Junction - CMJ

  • Nelson Street northbound off ramp 1 November
  • Northbound lanes between Khyber Pass Road off ramp and Wellington Street on ramp 1 November
  • Symonds Street/Wellesley Street/Port northbound off ramp 1 – 5 November
  • SH1 northbound to SH16 westbound link 1 November

Southern Motorway (SH1)

  • Gillies Avenue southbound off ramp 1 – 5 November (approx 10pm – 5am)
  • St Marks Road southbound on ramp 1 – 5 November
  • St Marks Road southbound on ramp 7 November (6.30am – 5.00am)
  • Southbound lanes between Market Road off ramp and Greenlane East on ramp 1 November
  • Greenlane northbound off ramp 1 November
  • Manukau southbound on ramp 31 October – 4 November (approx 7pm – 10pm)
  • Manukau southbound on ramp 5 November (approx 8pm – 11pm)
  • Northbound lanes between Papakura off ramp and Takanini on ramp 1 & 3 – 5 November
  • Papakura northbound on ramp 4 – 5 November
  • Northbound lanes between Drury/SH22 off ramp and Papakura on ramp 2 November

Northwestern Motorway (SH16)

  • St Lukes Road eastbound on ramp 1 November
  • Westbound lanes between Great North Road off and on ramps 1 – 5 November
  • Rosebank Road westbound off ramp 4 November
  • Patiki Road eastbound off ramp 5 November
  • Eastbound lanes between Te Atatu Road off ramp and Rosebank Road on ramp 4 November

State Highway 16 - 18

  • All lanes between Royal Road, Don Buck Road and Fitzherbert Avenue 1 – 5 November (approx 7pm to 6.30am)

Upper Harbour Highway (SH18)

  • Westbound lanes between Caribbean Drive and Albany Highway 3  November
  • Access to Upper Harbour Highway from Caribbean Drive closed 3 November

Southwestern Motorway (SH20)

  • Southbound lanes between Hillsborough Road off ramp to Neilson Street on ramp 1 – 3 November
  • Queenstown Road southbound on ramp 1 – 3 November
  • Mahunga Drive northbound on ramp 3 November
  • Mahunga Drive southbound off ramp 4 November
  • Eastbound lanes (Wiri Station Road) between Lambie Drive and Great South Road 5 November

George Bolt Memorial DR (SH20A)

  • Eastbound lanes between Kirkbride Road and SH20 5 November

    seems like large parts of the motorway network have lower speed limits at the moment.

    Bah I couldn’t care less about motorway closures, unless they’re permanent… Then it’s jig time…
