Over 60 Missing In Queensland Floods

With over 60 people missing in Queensland and new reports of the death toll of 8 rising from those continuing floods, the Australian prime minister told a televised news conference this afternoon the nation must brace itself ‘for more bad news.”
With the Brisbane CBD this afternoon having businesses close as people brace for the river there bursting its banks, it’s a very sad and extraordinary situation.

We’ve just been through a mining tragedy and now Australia is hurting.
My thoughts are with everyone being affected.

The heavy rain just won’t stop.
