Bonus Tracks - Photos

Rail staff are using the bonus of continuing summer weather, minus a few showers,  and the long Auckland Anniversary weekend, with some train services replaced by buses, to do track tidying up work.

This follows several weeks of extensive track lowering for electrification.

Let’s hope those working at Newmarket this weekend are not just checking the tracks but are checking and double-checking the new signal system.
