Rail development workers, some of whom are up for several weeks from other parts of the country, deserved an early knock off yesterday and a day off for some.
A quick tour around some of the key locations didn’t spot the usual workers but there’s plenty of interesting equipment lying around, ready for when they arrive on the job.
You can imagine some of it being offered to galleries as pieces of interesting arty sculpture!

Photos 4 and 5 would be a couple of years old?
Geoff, no I wasnt taking photos 4 years ago! They were taken that day. Bottom one is Sandringham Rd overbridge where they are lowering track for electrification
