Body At Takanini Station Disrupts Trains

Disruption this morning after a body was found at the Takanini station.

Police say that at about 5.00am police and Ambulance were called to the station.

A police statement says: “Located there, was a deceased person in very close proximity with the tracks. The affected lines are closed and some delay are to be expected for both those travelling north and south. Police are investigating identity of deceased and circumstances as to cause of death. “
