Weekend Rail Disruption

Rail disruption this weekend affects travel to the Warriors vs Dragons match at Mt Smart.
Extra rail buses will be running for the game on Saturday. The rail bus stop at Papatoetoe Station will be at a new, more convenient location on Shirley Rd.
Buses will replace trains on the Southern, Onehunga and part of the Eastern Line this weekend.

The closures will allow Kiwirail and Auckland Transport to continue upgrading the rail network and prepare it for electrification.

Buses replacing trains Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 March:

Eastern Line: Papatoetoe to Papakura only.

Southern Line: Britomart to Otahuhu (via Newmarket), Papatoetoe to Papakura.

Note that passengers can catch an Eastern Line train to Britomart from Papatoetoe, Middlemore, Otahuhu and Westfield stations.

Onehunga Line: Britomart to Onehunga.

Replacement rail bus services will be provided during the closures and special timetables will be in place for them. Details here
