Auckland City Council has opened the Dominion Rd T2 issue up for public feedback.
This comes in a week in which the ARC transport and urban development committee has opposed the plan to let cars into the bus lanes.
The city council’s transport committee’s plan is for the road that includes a separate cycle lane, a T2 transit lane for vehicles with two or more occupants, and a general vehicle lane, in each direction.
To deliver this design, on-street parking on Dominion Road would need to be removed and some right turning restrictions introduced.
Auckland City has opened up for online feedback about the plan.

This is pretty crucial. They need to get a stiff wind blowing into their face on the T2 proposal.
